Zorro was a Jack Russell born along with his other brothers and sisters on the 6th march 2009.
He became very weak and would not feed off his mother, We did our utter best to save him, but it
wasn't to be.
We just want him to know he will always be here in our hearts and even though he was just with us
for a very short time, we love and miss him loads.
Hope that you met up with your angel brothers and our friends.

Through veils of peace may you ascend
To promised planes above
Where comfort shall await you
In those summerlands of love.
Although my grief is deep and raw
Although my pain is great
I know that you are still with me
I know that you will wait.
For in God's time we'll meet again

I loved you so much on this earth
In absence even more.
No matter how far you are,

Patiently
As I see the Gates of Heaven
And I know I'm headed home
I see the great St. Peter
But alas, he's not alone.
The tears have blurred my vision
But I'd know him anywhere
He sits and waits so patiently
He knows I'll soon be there.
I drop to my knees and call his name
He responds with bounding glee
He whines and he cries
The joy is in his eyes

Warm light coming from far below
twinkling sparkling is the candle's glow
all is well up on the ridge
the place we know as Rainbow Bridge.
Furbabies sleeping in heaven's light
tended by candles in the night
peaceful dreams be theirs to keep
as they slumber in this night so deep
Hearts on earth that miss them so
take comfort in the candle's glow
watching for them in skies above
bound eternally by a cord of love.

Tribute To A Best Friend
Sunlight streams through window pane
unto a spot on the floor....
then I remember,
it's where you used to lie,
but now you are no more.
Our feet walk down a hall of carpet,
and muted echoes sound....
then I remember,
It's where your paws would joyously abound.
A voice is heard along the road,
and up beyond the hill,
then I remember it can't be yours....
your golden voice is still.
But I'll take that vacant spot of floor
and empty muted hall
and lay them with the absent voice
and unused dish along the wall.
I'll wrap these treasured memorials
in a blanket of my love
and keep them for my best friend
until we meet above.

~ A Little Dog Angel~
High up in the courts of Heaven today
A little dog-angel waits,
With the other dogs he will not play,
But he sits alone at the Gates:
"For I know my master will come," says he
"And when he comes, he will call for me."
He sees the spirits that pass him by
As they hasten towards the throne,
And he watches them with a wistful eye
As he sits at the gate alone;
"But I know if I just wait patiently
"That someday my Master will come," says he.
And his Master far down on the earth below,
As he sits in his easy chair,
Forgets sometimes, and he whistles low
For the dog that is not there;
And the little dog-angel cocks his ears
And dreams that his Master's call he hears.
And I know when at length his Master waits
Outside in the dark and cold
For the hand of Death to open the gates
That lead to the Courts of Gold,
The little dog-angel's eager bark
Will comfort his soul while he's still in the dark.
